Can anyone fundraise by starting a VolleyFund Campaign?

To start a VolleyFund there are a few requirements. First check to make sure Stripe Connect is available in your country. See our Stripe Connect Country Availability list. Once you have verified that you can register for Stripe Connect, you are able to start a VolleyFund Campaign. All VolleyFunds will require an approval from our administration before the funds are released. Be sure to fundraise for only Beach Volleyball related causes. When will I receive my funds if I receive donations on my VolleyFund Campaign?

You can expect your funds to be available in your Stripe account within approximately 10 days from the completion of your campaign. Your campaign reaches completion either by the selected timeline ending or the campaign reaching the target monetary goal. Once the funds are available in your stripe account you can initiate the transfer to your connected bank account. This can take up to 5 business days. The VolleyTribe administration will review all VolleyFunds before initiating the payment to the members Stripe account. We may reach out to you with any questions. If you have not received your VolleyFunds in your Stripe account please do the following: 1) Check your email to make sure we haven’t asked any VolleyFund questions 2) Check your Stripe account to make sure you have not received the funds 3) Send an email to: VolleyFunds@VolleyTribe.com

 

 

Can I Have Two or More VolleyFund Campaigns at the Same Time?

Yes you may! We strongly encourage members to start campaigns that are achievable and within reason. VolleyFund campaigns that are close to being fully funded are more likely to get more support from others. We encourage anyone who has successfully completed a VolleyFund to create a career highlight post discussing how the VolleyFund helped them with a career highlight. Show the community how the help really goes a long way.  

Can I Create a VolleyFund for Somebody Else?

Yes you may create a VolleyFund campaign for someone else but you may not create a profile for somebody else. The profile must be in your name and you must disclose for whom you are creating a VolleyFund Campaign for. We are inclusive of all VolleyFund Campaigns as long as they are beach volleyball related. Some examples of VolleyFund Campaigns that are created for others may include raising money for beach volleyball partnerships, schools, club programs, businesses, and community causes. We love to see VolleyFunds created for communities that don’t have much exposure to Beach Volleyball. This is how we would like to fuel the pipeline of the sport.

What are the fees for starting a VolleyFund Campaign?

VolleyTribe Members will recieve 90% of their total funds raised. The remaining 10% goes to cover the payment processor fees and to VolleyTribe for a service transaction fee. 

Why did I receive less than the 90% of the funds that I successfully raised?

If you are receiving less than 90% of your total funds raised there was a chargback or dispute on a transaction associated to your VolleyFund Campaign. We will be very transparent and notify your with proof of any chargebacks or charge disputes associated to your campaign.

VolleyTribe Member Profiles

Is it free to have a VolleyTribe member account?

Yes a membership profile is completely free on VolleyTribe. Our goal is to bring more exposure to the sport and all the athletes and organizers involved in the community. 

How do I delete my VolleyTribe member account?

To delete your VolleyTribe account contact Admin@VolleyTribe.com. We will delete your profile. We may ask of proof of ID before completing your request. If VolleyTribe has featured any of your information on our pages or social media outlets we can not guarantee all of your information is completely off of our site and associated pages. If there are some areas of our site or social media that you would like to be removed please notify us.

 

 

What if there is someone creating a membership and pretending to be me?

Contact Report@VolleyTribe immediatly if you feel that there is another member that is acting as an imposter. We take these reports very seriously and our administration will conduct an investigation. We will require proof of identification from both parties.

 

 

Do I have to link all my social media accounts to my profile?

Absolutely not. We respect everyones right to privacy. If you do not enter your social media links the icon won’t even appear on your VolleyTribe Member page. Share only what you feel comfortable with. 

What is the purpose of the question and answer section?

The question and answer section of your profile is a way for your fans and potential sponsors to get to know you off the sand. Answer only the questions you feel comfortable with!

What information should I be putting in the career highlights posts?

Your career highlights section is a way for you to share your beach volleyball career highlights. The highlights can be viewed as a timeline based on highlight date or from the day of your post. You don’t have to post everything in chronological order as this can be set and filtered at anytime.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds will be given if the item is returned within 45 days of placing the order. For United States customers VolleyTribe will offer free return shipping on orders over $75. See our full Refund Policy to learn more.
